MGA Flags Six Websites for Falsely Claiming Maltese Gaming Licences.

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has issued a warning against six websites allegedly making false claims about their association with the regulator or holding a Maltese gaming licence.

In a notice published on 30 October 2026, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) named six unauthorised URLs that it identified during October. The regulator also clarified that it has no connection with any of the listed websites.

Six Websites Named in MGA Warning

The MGA listed the following websites as unauthorised:

  • reelfurycasino.org
  • uwin33myr5.com
  • winvora.io
  • brittsino.co.uk
  • upgaming.com
  • jedar88-heng.lol

The regulator said these websites make false and misleading claims about their association with the MGA or their possession of a Maltese gaming licence.

The warning aims to alert players and industry stakeholders to websites that may misrepresent their regulatory status.

MGA Urges Players to Verify Operators

The MGA has urged consumers to check an operator’s licensing status before using its services. Players should confirm the regulator’s approval before engaging with any gambling platform.

Malta requires licensed gambling operators to follow strict legal and regulatory standards. These requirements help protect players and promote responsible gambling.

Unauthorised operators fall outside this regulatory framework and lack the same consumer protections. The MGA warns that transactions with these websites may expose consumers to financial and other risks.

How to Verify an MGA Licence

The Malta Gaming Authority maintains an online list of unauthorised websites and regularly adds new URLs as it identifies them.

Players, business partners and other stakeholders can check the regulator’s official licensee register to confirm a gambling company’s licensing status before engaging with its services.

The latest warning highlights the importance of regulatory checks and consumer awareness as online gambling continues to expand across international markets.
