betPawa Big League Concludes; Awards Ceremony Held in Partnership with FUFA!

Last Sunday 2nd June, in partnership with FUFA (Federation of Uganda Football Associations), betPawa held the final games of the betPawa Big League.

An activation and closed off the event with an award ceremony to conclude the season, held at the Mbale municipal stadium in Mbale district, Eastern Uganda region.

The heated final which was attended by thrilled fans saw Police FC (the Uganda Police Force’s football team) synch not only the final fixture win, but also emerge season victors of the 2023-2024 season.

betPawa held an activation during the event where new customers were registered, conducted dribbling and penalty shoot-out challenges and trivia sessions to engage with the fans, and distributed betPawa branded merchandise.

The footballers in this league showcased great enthusiasm, sportsmanship and exceptional talent, and as part of the season-end award ceremony; the operator awarded the MVP, Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, FairPlay team of the season, and Best Coach from different teams across the League, as well as the winning team.
