Africa Gaming Expo 2024 Opens in Lagos!

The stage is getting set for an unprecedented celebration of gaming culture as the Africa Gaming Expo 2024 (AGE Lagos 2024) gears up for its grand unveiling.

This year’s expo, is scheduled from March 12th to March 15th, 2024, at the Eko Hotel and Suites Convention Centre. It promises to be a groundbreaking event, showcasing the vibrant and rapidly growing gaming industry across the African continent: which includes sports betting, lottery and casino, eSports, online and mobile gaming, fintech, and banks (payment platforms), among others.

In anticipation of the expo, a press conference was held to provide a sneak peek into what attendees can expect.

“This expo will give you a platform to learn more and to even create permanent partnerships with people across the globe,” said Bashir Are, CEO, Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority and Chairman of AGE Lagos.

The press conference provided a glimpse into the topics that will be covered and sneak peeks into the latest gaming hardware, software, and virtual reality experiences that will be showcased.

“We also have an African Regulator’s Forum on Day 2 of the event. This is on March 13th, 2024, where we will feature regulators from Botswana, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria. We have also reached out to Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This gives them the opportunity to discuss regulations across Africa and see how we can synergize most of these issues that we are facing in the industry,” further added Adenike Oyebamiji, Project Coordinator, Africa Gaming Expo 2024.

Present at the press conference were Bashir Are, Chairman, Federation of State Gaming Regulation of Nigeria, and Mrs. Adenike Oyebamiji, Project Coordinator, Africa Gaming Expo (AGE) Lagos 2024, amongst all other key stakeholders.

Further propelling synergies through the exchange of ideas amongst industry experts, leaders, and stakeholders within Africa and global markets.
