Pragmatic Play has started 2026 with the release of a new slot game titled Joker’s Jewels Hold & Spin, which features a nostalgic theme and a well-known bonus mechanic. The game combines a classic visual style with a money respins feature and a set maximum win limit.
The slot was launched on January 5, 2026, marking Pragmatic Play’s first release of the year. It continues the company’s trend of developing titles based on familiar slot formats. The game is set on a 5×3 reel grid and draws inspiration from traditional joker-themed designs. Symbols in the game include jester-related icons such as lutes and juggling pins. Winning combinations are formed when players land three to five matching symbols on a payline. In the base game, players can win up to 1,000 times their bet, depending on the symbol and wager size.
The game’s standout feature is the Hold & Spin bonus, which activates when three or more money symbols appear on the reels. Each money symbol can yield prizes of up to 5,000x. Once triggered, the bonus round begins with three respins, which reset each time a new money symbol lands. During this feature, the game collects and awards all the cash values displayed on the symbols when the respins end. The maximum potential win is 10,000x, which occurs if money symbols occupy the entire grid during the bonus. Achieving this results in an immediate payout of the full amount at the conclusion of the round.

Within Pragmatic Play’s portfolio, Joker’s Jewels Hold & Spin joins earlier titles such as Fortune of Olympus and Big Bass Splash 1000. The release underscores the company’s approach of blending familiar themes with proven mechanics, rather than implementing radical structural changes to their slot designs.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, commented on the release: “Joker’s Jewels Hold & Spin provides a fresh take on a vintage theme, offering classic slots action enhanced by the popular Hold & Spin mechanic and a 10,000x max win.”
