Only operators who obtain a license will be permitted to offer online gambling services within New Zealand, and they will be required to adhere to the country\u2019s regulations. Additionally, the bill addresses a previously identified loophole in gambling taxation, ensuring that licensed online operators will pay taxes on par with other domestic businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To protect consumers, the government has linked the new licensing regime to enhanced safeguards for players.
