GoldenRace to exhibit virtual sports and In-Shop Mobile at inaugural iGaming AFRIKA Summit

The Softquo-owned supplier brings its retail-digital bridging technology to Nairobi as the continent’s first dedicated B2B gaming summit opens its doors. African iGaming suppliers are accelerating their push into East Africa’s retail betting sector, where mobile penetration and high shop volumes are reshaping how operators manage player demand. GoldenRace will exhibit at Stand C09 of the inaugural iGaming AFRIKA Summit, held at Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi from 4 to 6 May 2026. GoldenRace IGA Summit
East Africa focus at stand C09
GoldenRace will use the inaugural iGaming AFRIKA Summit described by organisers as ‘the largest gaming summit ever hosted on the African continent’ to showcase products tailored specifically for East African retail operators. The company’s stand, C09, will be located at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, where the three-day event runs from 4 to 6 May 2026.
The centrepiece of GoldenRace’s exhibition is its In-Shop Mobile solution, which allows players to place bets from their own devices within a physical betting shop, reducing dependence on fixed terminals and cashier counters. The solution is part of a broader retail efficiency push by GoldenRace that has also included a Preticket self-service option and, most recently, a Fast Ticket Checker and updated Jackpot Viewer , all intended to help land-based operators manage higher player volumes without a proportional increase in hardware costs.
Product portfolio for the African market
Alongside In-Shop Mobile, GoldenRace will present a portfolio of virtual and arcade titles configured for African operator preferences. These include Virtual Football, Dog Racing, and number-draw game Spin2Win titles with an established retail presence in markets such as Nigeria and Kenya , as well as newer crash-format titles JetEscape and Arcade Heist.
Spinmatic’s slot catalogue will also be on show as part of a combined content offering; GoldenRace and Spinmatic are both brands within Softquo Holding, and have been jointly distributed to operators since 2020.
Martin Wachter, CEO and founder of GoldenRace, said:
“Our goal at the iGaming AFRIKA Summit is to demonstrate how global technological standards can be applied to meet the specific needs of African operators. From our In-Shop Mobile technology to our virtual sports portfolio, we provide the tools necessary for security, scalability and engagement.”
GoldenRace’s existing East Africa presence
GoldenRace arrives at the summit with an active regional footprint. The company partnered with Kenyan operator Pepeta in September 2024, giving that platform access to GoldenRace’s virtual sports catalogue, including Virtual Football, Basketball 3×3, and Greyhound Racing, as well as the In-Shop Mobile product.
The supplier says it is licensed and certified in more than 20 jurisdictions, with its platform running across more than 60,000 retail locations globally.
